Paul Needleman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture. Previously, he owned the largest privately-owned, award-winning interior landscaping company in Southern California for 19 years. Paul, and his friend and business partner, Mark Whitten (now retired) founded Green House Nurseries, Inc. in 1998 with a commitment to their customers to supply the highest quality indoor plants possible to both plantscapers and various specialty markets.

Among the specialty markets are consulting services provided by Paul to major hotel chains, major casinos, major commercial property management firms with respect to their indoor plant environment needs, together with other specialty outdoor products.

Within the last few years the availability of high quality plants from growers has become increasingly challenging, additionally, area rents have escalated dramatically, as have wages, insurance, freight and other cost and thus, Green House Nurseries has been forced to change its business model in order to continue to provide quality plants and services to their customers. Green House Nurseries has closed its Arleta, Ca. location. Further, Green House Nurseries is now affiliated with West Coast Nurseries Group, Inc. (Hilo, Hawaii and San Marcos, CA) and they are one of the largest growers of high quality indoor plants in Hawaii.
